Hilton Head Health Begins Phase I of Renovation Project
Hilton Head Health, the nation's leading weight loss and health resort, will begin renovating the front entrance, north entrance and construction of a new pool and spa beginning this Tuesday, September 8th.
HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC, September 09, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Beginning on Tuesday, Sept. 8th, Hilton Head Health, the nation's leading weight loss and health resort, will begin Phase I of its renovation project including the renovation of the front entrance, north entrance and construction of a new pool/spa. This project is designed to not only improve the physical appearance of the campus, but to enhance the guests' comfort, convenience and overall experience.
According to Ben Brown, director of plant services, "We're very excited about the upcoming pool renovations because it won't only improve the facility, but we're able to further efforts in our Green Initiative in becoming a more eco-friendly business. We will construct our steps, decks and fencing out of 50% recycled and reclaimed plastic and 50% reclaimed wood. We'll heat the pool and spa with a geothermal heating system, which utilizes free renewable energy. And in addition, the pool and spa will be filtered with a mineral system and that will not require the harsh chemicals typically associated with the use of chlorine."
Hilton Head Health is currently finalizing plans for Phase II, which include the construction of Carolina Lodge. Carolina Lodge will consist of luxury accommodations and a new spa services center. The third and final phase of the project will include the renovation of the dining room, main kitchen and construction of an upgraded cooking demonstration center.
