COLUMBIA, SC, January 19, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- On January 27, 2009, the Central Carolina Entrepreneur's Club (CCEC) will launch its next meeting at the Capital City Club in downtown Columbia (1201 Main Street, 25th floor).
The primary mission of the CCEC is education and networking. Through monthly luncheons, we present speakers with various areas of expertise to discuss issues that are important to business owners and lessons they have learned by being entrepreneurs. The CCEC provides opportunities to network with other entrepreneurs and hear different strategies that you can apply in your own business.
The speaker on January 27, 2009 will be C. Stanley Lomax. He is a distinguished lecturer at The Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina. He will be speaking about employee under-performance and the Human Resource function. Stan will also discuss the performance appraisal process and the famous "Vitality Curve."
Lunch will begin at 12:00pm and Stan's discussion will be from 12:15pm until 1:00pm.
