First Gaming & Technology Fraternity starts "College Tour" at ITT Technical Institute in Greenville, South Carolina
Delta Beta Lambda Fraternity Inc the world's first online gaming and technology fraternity started their "College Tour 08" September 24th in Greenville, South Carolina after being approved by ITT Technical Institute to establish a chapter at the Greenville Campus.
SPARTANBURG, SC, September 28, 2008 /South Carolina News Articles/ -- September 24, 2008 The organization was well received by the students at the ITT Tech campus who are enrolled in majority technology related programs. One student commented "Gaming Fraternity this is brilliant" and the reception of the organization at the school eas exceptional.
Delta Beta Lambda Fraternity Collegiate requirements for membership are the following; 3.5 Grade Point Average and 35 hours of community service. The mission of the organization is dedicated to promote brotherhood and sisterhood for a global technology society through service, leadership development and lifelong personal growth of our diverse membership.
The organization is currently working on launching (www.dblpro.com) the first Virtual Athletics Network for online gamers to compete in professional tournaments sponsored by game developers and publishers. The website mission is to engage users and facilitate feedback between end-users and developers regarding all areas of their product.
