JK Harris ends tension, tax troubles for Georgia man

Then he found out he owed over $48,800 in federal taxes and $14,000 in taxes to the State of Georgia. His tension and stress was mounting daily due to the tax debt that was hanging over him.

Health problems and an initial denial on the federal Offer in Compromise made the situation tougher on Roberts. JK Harris, however, appealed the IRS' decision and submitted another offer. This time, the IRS accepted it, and Roberts was relieved.

According to the Case Specialist that worked Roberts' case, it took some time and lots of patience, but the results were well worth it in the end.

Roberts was able to save over $43,000 on his federal taxes and over $8,900 that he owed the State of Georgia.
